This piece was created as a gift for a friend, based on a photo he took while on a trip in Maine. Created using watercolor, this piece pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me how to embrace messy watercolor painting rather than hyperrealism. This piece features the Portland Headlight in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.
